Shane Miller has qualified for Division II Nationals to be held March 10, 11 in Kearney Nebraska. He finished 4th at western regional in San Francisco last week losing tough matches to 1st and 3rd ranked guys in nation. Was beating 3rd ranked guy going into 3rd prd. A little hometown support can help motivate him.

Shane Miller 189 lb state champ Douglas High 2006
197 lb CA Junior College Champ 2008

Tough first round for both Nevada wrestlers, they both go down by decision.

Gabe Suarez must like day 2 consolation rounds at the National tourney, Gabe wins five matches in a row to place third @ 141 lbs. All -American status earned. Great job.

Shane Miller had a little tougher day & did not place. Shane did qualify for Nationals, no easy task. Congratulations to Shane for making it that far.
