Hi weeksy,

I haven't had time to try for myself this program, but it came highly recommended to me. It is designed just for what you described. Please let us know how it does for you.

Pandora Recovery 1.3.7

optimized and expanded version has been made available for download.
Version 1.3.7 implements faster surface scan algorithm, adds support for compressed (ZIP), MP3 and MS Office files to the surface scan and implements visual progress indicators.

Pandora Recovery comes in two flavors, standalone "Pandora Recovery" (free for personal use) and portable "Pandora Mobile Recovery" (part of "Pandora PowerPack"). And while the core functionality is the same in both versions you are strongly encouraged to go with the portable version if you answer "yes" to any of the following questions:

Do you need to recover data from your primary drive (one that hosts "Windows" or "WinNT" folder and your "Documents & Settings" folder)?
Do you need to recover data from more than one computer?
Do you need to recover data from a computer that does not have Internet access?
Do you want to use the software within an organization? (If you are not-for-profit contact us, please)
Do you want to impress friends and family with some forensic magic?
Do you want to sell the software or forensic services?

Restoration v2.5.14 [193k] W9x/2k/XP FREE

[Restore deleted files] Didn't mean to get rid of a file? With
this handy little app, you can restore files that have been
deleted from the Recycle Bin (or deleted while holding down the
Shift key) by mistake. Conversely, this program has another
function that makes it almost impossible to restore all deleted
files. (You'd want to use this to delete confidential documents,
possibly embarrassing files such as the love letters you wrote to
your sixth-grade crush, and so on.) This is a standalone
application, so you could even run it from a floppy disk if you
didn't want to install it directly on your machine. Please note
that even if a file seems to be restored, there is no guarantee
that the contents are correct, so please check your files after
you run the program. You will probably have the best results if
you make your restoration attempts soon after you deleted the
files.

weeksy,

Any of the file restore ("undelete") software should be able to recover a deleted file on your external as well as internal hard drive if it still exists and has not be overwritten by another program or through defragging.

Look for a program that allows you to specify the hard drive you want to search for files top recover. You may have to go to a paid program and if so one that is considered pretty good is http://www.winundelete.com/.

From my experience I can recommend trying Advanced File Recovery on (advanced-file-recovery dot com). It helped me a lot when I needed to recover deleted pictures on my PC.

I have not practical experience about such deleted file recovery but i can suggest you to do something like this. Go to easeus-deletedrecovery dot com and download S/W and they will guide you to recover the file . I hope you will be successful.
