The price is right, the fight is tight, no better way to spend a Jersey night!!!
If you never fought a blue fish, you definately do not know what you are missing. Hold the pole under your arm pit, and hang on!!! Pound for pound got to be the tuffest, most affordable fishing available. I know all od us along the eastern seaboard know all about them, but if anyone landlocked ever does the east coast Atlantic Ocean thing, get out blue fishing, you will not regret it. I have been fishing the same party boat for over 30 years and can give anyone info interested out of Jersey. _________________ straight shootin' |

Man, I could use some lobster bait.
Now what do you do with them? _________________ Your eye in the Northeast sky.

Good job! This is a mess of blues.
I've never fooled with 'em myself but as you describe I've heard they're a bunch of fun to catch.
... I do remember a few years ago though, a buddy came back from vacation. He had his thumb all bandaged up. He'd been fishing for blues and was pulling one into the boat. When he got it up to the boat he grabbed it by the lip like you would a bass ... |
