A buddy of mine shot this incredible Eastern Sunday Morning here in Kansas. 4 beards! Longest beard was 11 inches. Total score was 110!

No, I wasn't with him. He was by himself and shot it early Sunday morning before church. It was only the third turkey he had ever shot. He had it in the back of his truck when he came to church and asked "does it mean something when a turkey has 4 of those beard things?". Haha! I about passed out when he showed me the pictures and then we went out to the truck to see it.
We took it to the field by the church to get some pictures of him and the bird (since he was by himself when he shot it). It had 1-1/8" spurs. Weighed around 19lbs. I think it had 34 inches of beards overall.
I felt fortunate to even see a bird that nice! _________________ WILD GAME HUNTING PODCAST! The show for everyone who has a passion for hunting and the great outdoors!

Me too!! Then again, considering you hunt with 6 every season, it should be coming any hunt now. I think he might be holding out on you!!! _________________ All we need to do is call those hens across this field. |
