The land isn't mine, it's my cousin but I asked him about trading hunts and he said see what I could come up with. He owns about 350 acres that boarders the main branch of the Obion river. Its about 15 miles from world famous Reelfoot lake. Like any place it has it's up and down years but lately it's looked pretty up. Last season we picked up 665 ducks. (bear in mind we average hunting about 3 people a day between two blinds and some days no one hunted at all.) The best part about hunting there is that both blinds comfortably hunt 4 people. You never have to worry about tons of people shooting and claiming birds. There is a propane oven in both blinds. If you decide to come I, or someone else, will personally cook you a big ol' country breakfast each morning. It's about a 5 minuet boat ride to the blinds. You never have to get out of the boat until you get to the blind, and someone will retrieve all of the ducks for you. There is a cabin on the property that i can not begin to describe. It's about 1000 square feet with a wood fireplace. He used about 6 different woods building it. It's beautiful. Only being about 20 minuets from boyette's restaurant ensures a wonderful meal every night. Or we can just grill steaks. If you would like to bring a rifle in case you limit out one morning, there are several deer stands you would probably be welcome to sit in during the afternoon. It would be ideal if there were three people who wanted to come. All of you would be able to hunt together along with one boat driver/cook/retriever. There are plenty of beds in the cabin. I'm just looking for something new, preferably within driving distance. Possibly Missouri turkeys, Pheasant somewhere, Texas or Oklahoma Rios, just something different. I can’t guarantee ducks, but i can promise a good time. We can be in touch to tell you if something happened i.e.:no water, no ducks, to much ice. that way you wont have to worry about wasting a trip. Let me know if you’re interested.

Some pics from last season:

I operate Diamond K Outfitters. Our speciality is spring gobblers in MO. I will send you an info letter. Maybe we can work something out. I could accomidate 3 hunters and I would like to bring 3 hunters(me +2) so that might work out. Huntinfool is one of the guys I would like to bring, since he is one of my many returning clients. The other guy is one of my guides. Mark
